Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra is gearing up for her Tollywood debut now. The actress has bagged a film opposite Mahesh Babu and it will be helmed by none other than AR Murugadoss, the popular filmmaker who has delivered hits, such as Ghajini and Thuppakki. News it that Parineeti has charged a whopping sum for doing the film.
It is being said that the untitled project will be Mahesh Babu’s most expensive film ever. A leading daily reported that Parineeti has charged around Rs 3.5 crore for her Tollywood debut. This is the first time the Bollywood beauty has got an offer from the South Indian film Industry.
Deccan Chronicle’s report also claims that the Mahesh Babu starrer will be a 90 crore film. It is a bilingual project and will be shot in both Telugu & Tamil at the same time. The makers are also planning to dub the film in Hindi for wider audience reach. Telugu actor Mahesh will dub for the Tamil version too. Since the actor has been in Chennai for few years, he has a good hold over the language and can speak it fluently too. SJ Suryah will be seen in the role of villain in the upcoming movie. He impressed the audience with his brilliant performance in Iraivi.
Back in Bollywood, Parineeti is busy shooting for Meri Pyaari Bindu. The movie stars Ayushmann Khuranna as her male lead. The actress plays a singer in the film. A really interesting teaser of the film was released on the day when the movie went on floors.
